RAW Britain 2009 takes the challenge to the Scottish Highlands. Compete through some of the most majestic, remote and stunningly beautiful landscape you could dare imagine.

Rugged, remote and rare - Scotland's famous Highlands make up one of Europe's great wilderness areas and the 200 Mile, 6 Day Course will challenge competitors both mentally and physically.

This new exciting route will provide the Ultimate Running Adventure and will be limited to 100 Competitors only.

RAW Britain - which is the former “The Marathon of Britain”, has been redesigned to create a new, tougher and much more exciting challenge.

RAW Britain is part of the toughest footrace series - Ambition Events’ “Run Across The World Series”.

A RAW event is not a simple ultra; the challenge is set in harsh or demanding locations all over the world, over routes so grueling, so severe that every finisher can stand proud in the knowledge that it can be done.
